that white fish was huge im geusing 7 or 8 pounds
great report and nice pictures
oh and im sure thouse eyes were tasty
tight lines walleye man
hey thanx walleye man but the truth is that this fish is 4.5 lbs!

im on the hunt for the 6 lbs white fish now!

these fish are hard to catch man!

we are having great success with lil foxxee's tiped with some fish fry for the scent.

they go wild over it.

here is something to think about.

USUALY on simcoe people are catching these fish in 70 - 100 FOW.

BUT in this lake the whities hang around 15-25 FOW.

we had a hard time finding them but now i think we got them! :D

B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. Pics fellas!!

It looks like spring fishing, well I guess yesterday felt like it anyway. My last three times out it has been -25 and I couldn't make it out this weekend.

So the morsal that you pulled from the perch...was that a fresh water shrimp? I found that lakes that have fresh water shrimp hold jumbo perch as it seems that they fatten up on them quickly.

Cheers,
Prairieboy

sweet report lads, i like the pics, the one hander holdin them by the belly is a different shot, looks cool. I've never targeted whitefish, but I heard they taste awsome, and they are really fun to fight.
So were you fishing for walleye first thing in the morning, and then switch over to whities?? or do you get them in the same depths/areas?
