The fall bass fishing has been great....best fall largie bite I've seen in a few years....
Techniques for the largies have been tubes and flippin jigs....weeds were still showing some signs of life so we've been sticking to that pattern....don't discount sandy areas too.....we've picked up some brutes on sand too...
Yesterdays smallie fishin was awesome....fall colours in full bloom....glass calm lake....and not another soul on the lake....all the smallies came drop-shotting Gulp Leeches...
I've always wanted to fish Norcan.....just never made it there....too many lakes!...

To tell you the truth RJ, both Anthony and I have been scoring many fish and some big ones at that using both the leeches and minnows....I knew there was a bit of it in ya. Thanks for the tips, I will give them a go on the lake next weekend... So, don't pass up on the weeds just yet! It usually doesn't take long to figure out where they are, it's putting the right bait infront of them to get 'em to bite.

Thanks
I bought the rod on Friday....had to give it a go....I may need to do it one day in a tournament so I better get some confidence in it....I'm still no big fan of it.....it is the slowest fishing there is....but the fish sometimes need it I guess.....
There so many ways to rig it, and yes it is a slow method of fishing depending on how you apply it. Another rod is always nice Now that you have give it a go for largies next summer. I have really been having fun with this technique this summer and fall.
