Where is everyone going for the Bass Opener?

was supposed to go to my buddies private lake, turns out that i am now on call that weekend and will probably have calls coming out the wazoo!

I've got a couple spots mapped out for that weekend! If my fishing buddy isn't working might do 13 Island Lake with his 14 foot aluminum...if that falls through, his stepson might want to take a shot at Gan Lake with his pontoon boat.

Failing that...I'll be in the Gan River on my new float tube looking for the big guys that have been taunting me the last couple weeks when I take the dogs for a walk!

All be heading to the Narrows Locks on Big Rideau Lake and Lower Rideau lake around Westport and possibly Newboro Lake as well. I just cant wait.

I was planning on hitting the Ottawa and Rideau opening weekend. Go back an find some of those fish that didn't know they weren't in season. At least that was the plan until our Gouin trip got pushed back to next week. Looks like I'll be hittng piks and pike on the Gouin 'cause they say there are no bass on the resevoir.

Save a few for me please guys.
