Guess what I'm having for lunch...

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I'm going to head out there tommorow, may stay out even later to capitalize on the burbot bite. Wouldn't mind a couple more.

Well, I was going to answer....ummmm fishsticks :!:

Still have yet to try or even catch a ling but everyone says they do taste amazing. One of these days....I'd really like to try one.

Congrats fishstick, looks like she might have put up a decent battle.

When I was a teenager we used to go fish for ling at iceout, we used to catch 100's of them, and we were told by area fisherman that all they did was that they ate minnows and small walleyes. We used to whack them on a rock and throw them in the bush. Let me tell you that as soon as the temperature started going up that our fishing spot was kind of on the stinky side. We used to fish them the same way we fish for catfish. Worms and right on bottom.

If somebody wants that spot just PM me , it's only a 9 hour drive!!!!

Broke a monster off right at the hole while fishing tonight, made the one in the pic look like a minnow  He hit a jigging rap 3 times before I managed to hook him. Got a lil too excited and tried to horse him in a little too quickly.
