Thanks for the tid-bits of info, Rich!
I thought I knew the lake pretty well... guess I still have a lot to learn.

Everything I've learned, I learned from my father who's been going up there all his life (almost 50 years). Unfortunately, he didn't share the same passion for fishing as I do, until recently.
I really wish my grandfather was still around... he knew the lake inside out, and like the back of his hand. I never really talked fishing with him, (or that I can remember anyway) but I'm sure he could have taught me a thing or two. One day, I hope to pay tribute to him by catching a pickerel bigger than his record (7.5 lbs)... but I've got a thing or two to learn about pickeral fishing, before that day comes.
