First on the Ice!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

7 to 10 in????? Holy crap man get out there and live a little, just remember to send someone out first
Really though if that is what it takes you to get out, so be it.
3 to 5 is plenty to walk on but at season end a foot thickness can be dangerous as the ice fractures and fills w/ the wet stuff.
remember always be polite--"After you"is the correct term I believe

Hey Hawk-Dudes, just think back to the horrible piece of video that went around 5 or 6 years back that was taken by a bystander of a group of children watching their father go down for the last time while the volunteer F-Fighters tried to save the guy, unsucessfully, after risking their own lives to save a guy that simply made a bad decision.

Only watched it once!!!!

Don't think it can't happen to you cause it can.
