the thames is dirty but you can tuck outa the wind there. the detroit rivermouth is cleaner today. at the thames there is a ramp right at the lighthouse. the ramp is not the best be cautious. the ramp for the detroit river is at lakeview park city marina, exellent. at little river across from peche island
