We all think Brown, or maybe chinook, but we not 100% sure....

Looks like a brown... but I'm no expert- just basing that guess on the light coloured gums. Chinook's are black.

My guess was rainbow too....but I was afraid to look dumb to the trout guys... :lol: :lol: :lol:

Sure looks like a rainbow to me , the only thing that doesn't look right to me is the tail . I thought rainbows had more of a square tail. Maybe some are more square than others??????????????

i count the anal rays its the most accurate way

The rainbow trout has 10-12 anal rays

and the brown trout has 9-10 anal rays

this is the easiest way to tell!
