rainy day crappie

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

rainy day crappie

Post by SALMON »

:D Went out to a local crappie lake in the rain for a few hours today. Marked lots of suspended fish in 27' of water 16' down. Most had lock jaw but 5 crappie finally decide it was chow time. No biggies , all 8" to 8.5" clones of each other.

Not at shades and ice is 12" . Lake ranges from 2' to 28'. Small kettle lake.
