Can anyone tell me if you can fish for cats on the Ottawa river in winter. Do they bite or do they migrate. I thought it would be a blast to catch em' in winter. Any takers? Cheers all.

I took cats through the ice on several occasions around Petrie
Islans and from Constance Lake. Worms on the bottom did the
trick as far as I remember. Nothing big.
