Slushpuppy, Jen is a friend of ours who kept bugging us that she wanted to try salmon fishing. She was a great sport on the show and it actually turned out to be a great episode. We covered cut bait techniques for summer salmon out of Pickering on Lake Ontario, with a few laughs along the way.
Cheers,

Alright!!muskyfanatic wrote:It might just be sooner than you think, so far I think that "Snag this" is leading the auditions, no offence guys![]()
Joking aside, I would definately like to have someone on for sure. This season we have 3 shows left to shoot and they are all booked and confirmed. We will begin shooting again in April so I'll see what I can do.
Cheers,

Snag This, I'm happy to tell you that a mini skirt is not part of the criteria, however, if that's what you want to wear that's fine by me, I'm sure the vieweres won't mind either
. being able to handle a rod and reel is a big help, that I know you will definately have covered. What do you generally fish for?
Cheers,

Cheers,
Mainly bass and pike, but I'm trying new things almost every outing.muskyfanatic wrote:Snag This, I'm happy to tell you that a mini skirt is not part of the criteria, however, if that's what you want to wear that's fine by me, I'm sure the vieweres won't mind either. being able to handle a rod and reel is a big help, that I know you will definately have covered. Before I came to FH my skill level was near 0. I've learnt so much being here!
Can't wait for the muskie outing, so I can get that experience. Then hopefully I'll start going out for some quality eyes!
I caught my first ever gar this season, and just the feeling of catching a new species, especially a gar is just so awesome!
Also tried down-rigging for salmon. Well I didn't really do much but I would have been the first up to reel 'em in.

Well Snag This, you have one up on me, I've haven't yet caught a Gar in Canada. As for the boards, they are certainly a great place to learn and pick up tips, I feel they have become a valuable tool for many anglers. It seems that the amount of people that are interactive on the boards are greatly outweighed by visitors who simply read the info, the important part is that the information is being absorbed. This is especially great on this board in particular as it seems "factual" information being shared.
We're off to the Kawartha's tomorrow for some more musky fishing then on tuesday night we head off to Picton for 3 days of walleye fishing in Quinte. I'll let you know how we make out and if we get into fish I'll be sure to post the pictures.
Cheers,
