Black Donald Lake advice
Hi, I'm fishing Black Donald Lake next week and was wondering if anybody has any tips on finding/catching bass. I'll be launching from the public launch, I've never been there so I could use any info you have. Is it very weedy or rocky, clear or murky, depths etc.

Re: Black Donald Lake advice
This year wacky worm rig works wonders on most of the lakes.
Chose green/ white combination, or ask locals what works on this particular lake.
Every lake is different.
Smallmouth bass and largemouth as well now sitting between 1.5 to 2.5 m deep.
Add one splitshot 2 ft above wacky worm rig.
DO NOT SPOOK THE BASS!
If you come roaring with your motor boat to the spot - forget to catch the bass.
Come gently and cast away from the water that you passed before. Cast near the shore or even in open water where the depth 1.5-2.5 m.
If you try to fish for bass in main channel where it a lot of boat traffic - no hope. Go to side bays where it is quiet.
Good luck on your bass fishing
