I remember as a kid we fished Dow's Lake. Until the NCC cops whatever they are, showed up one day and told to get the $%^U* off before they fined us.
Isn't Winterlude all about winter activities. Ice fishing should be included, just give fishermen an area an rope it off to protect skaters.
Hell they can even charge a nominal fee for a days fishing to go to some charity.
It's a shame they can see outside the box to help themselves and add something that everyone can enjoy.
