They say that fishing around the full moon period can yield the biggest catches. Well I'm beginning to believe it might be true.
After washing my jig for 2 hours tonight I was debating on pulling the plug and heading home. On one of the many "One more cast" I got a hit. Damn I missed it. Well it looks like like I'm staying a little bit longer :lol:
15 minutes later I feel another Thunk. I set the hook twice just to be sure I got it. This thing isn't moving. Then the head shakes started. Wow it's big. It barely fit into my basket net. After putting it on the scales I now have my personal best 12lbs of pure gold

You da man!!! Congrats on your PB, what a fish and from shore to boot!!! As a fellow shore night walleye fisherman myself, I must say that I am VERY impressed with your remarkable shore walleye catches over the last few months.

Some guys on here will make their annual trip to Quinte to ice fish for giant 10-12 pounders.

Meanwhile, you're slaying giant walleyes from shore on the Larry in the middle of winter! Crazy, just crazy!!!
