Took a drive to Wellington yesterday. Looks like we should be able to get out on the lake soon. Just the ramp on the beach sides needs to melt a few days more to launch a boat. Other then that it looks wide open.

Looks a lot clearer than when we were there a week ago Sunday, getting to the lake is a key BUT the ice build up on the shore has to go somewhere. There was a LOT of floating ice in Athol Bay, it was shore to shore, making it almost five mile wide at the largest point.

We're watching it like a hawk.
