Upper Rideau/Charleston Lake Sept 2014

Well, I going back to Upper Rideau. We fished last September at Charleston Lake on Bull Island near Kelsey's. We caught lots of smallies, but they were not usually over 2#, We did catch a couple of 2# largemouth and I caught a 3.5 smallie.
We caught most everything on pumpkin seed or motor oil drop-shot.

We plan to do a couple of day trips to Charleston Lake. Haven't fished Upper Rideau in five years, so we will need lots of current tips.

FYI: Trip to Lady Evelyn was a bust fishing, two decent walleyes and few medium smallies. People and food were great. Weather sucked too.
