First Ice

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

First Ice

Post by jesse.page »

Well I finally manage to find some ice that I could wonder onto in hope of some panfish. There wasn't much out there but there was enough to get my fix in tell we can start hitting the bigger body's of water... lakes, rivers, ect.

Although i never seem to have any luck with this spot, i decided to try it anyways.

After an hour or so it started to get dark and i decided to pack it in, the fish didn't want to have anything to do with me anyways.

It still felt good to get it out of my system and finally hit some hardwater!

A day fishing pretty much beats anything else. Nice intro to the fish hawk community. Looking forward to the posts were you actually catch fish. If they are anything like Chevy's they will be good.

I am so conflicted.....
Part of me is really happy to see a report about someone givin' er!

The other part of me refuses to accept that winter is here.
... time to put away the patio furniture I guess.

Looks like your day looked a lot like ours ... punching some holes but nothing wants to play - time to get serious tomorrow ;) best of luck your next outing rewards you for being early.

Very poor picture quality on your portable TV.
Either that antenna you are holding in your left hand isn't very good or you were having reception problems.

Excellent report. I don't mind that there is no fish.
What I enjoyed the most is the creativity used to get the "self Portraits".

Tried to make the best of what i had to replace the lack of someone i couldn't find to go out with! That's what an hours worth of make shifting things before you go out gets you I guess
