What a way to start the ice season! First Cover - WOW!

Ice fishing starts for us tomorrow - CAN'T WAIT!!!

HOWEVER the excitement started a little early when we got a huge surprise this weekend finding out we landed our first cover.

We had the Run & Gunner picked up by another digital magazine - which is awesome! However this one is a little different as Smooth lands on the COVER with his highlight from last season - what a fish, what a shot, what a surprise!!!

congrats on the cover story fellas! Great pics and article I'm a fan of the run and gun also. I might add a spud to the list of mandatory gear for quickly exploring the ice and suggest that if using backpacks it might be a good idea to only keep one strap on a time in case you go through, you want that pack to slip off...it's not going to help you get topside.

Totally agree DL the R&G we wrote last year at mid ice season. Getting ready to experience early ice this year the way we are there are definately a few things that are different for this time of year.
