Constance lake ice

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Let me rephrase that: I quit modding becaues Maverick sent me an e-mail and PMs, and Maverick made modding this site a nightmare. The call at home was completely unrelated but it was the last straw. When modding became that personal, I quit. 95% of the work I did as a mod was editing or deleting the same 2 guys posts. Those 2 guys were the problem and still are.

I went and checked on a few back lakes today, 2-3" of unpredictable ice,I don't feel like getting wet so I'm Gonna wait another 2 weeks for it to really harden up.... The lakes not gonna go anywhere lads it will be there in 2 weeks why risk it.

I just talked to Constance Lake Lodge. The lake has virtually no snow on it, so that's good for making ice. Now they haven't checked the ice yet but he did say that if parts of Petrie have up to 4" of ice then his lake should have more than that as it always freezes up early and stable, seeing as there is no flow in the lake. No way to tell for sure without actually going out there but these past few cold nights should be making dandy ice on lakes with limited snow cover.

Cheers
