Shootout series 2014
Shootout series 2014
Starting November 21, we will be having a week of big announcements. Everyday for a week we will be announcing something big for the 2014 season. We have a few new major sponsor, along with a few new major prizes, and even some surprises. Of course we will be saving the biggest announcment for last along with opening registration the same day.

Re: Shootout series 2014
Cory,
We didn’t have the opportunity to participate in any EOBO tournaments this year, however, we would love to attend a few this upcoming year.
We had participated in events prior to you guys taking over the series, one thing that refrained our participation was the docking being a free for all at the end of the day come weigh-in time.
Could you briefly explain the docking procedures implemented as of now?
Thanks, looking forward to the announcements!

Re: Shootout series 2014
I can't comment on years prior other than the previous owner worked his butt off. What I can tell you about the shootout series is we have a dock master, and every boat must check in with him or don't bother coming to the scales. We only allow 3 or 4 anglers in the holding tank at a time, and yet we averaged over 60 boats per event and had all anglers weighed in less than an hour.

And yes the first announcement is up, and it's a good one, but not near our biggest announcement

Hey no problem, if you or anybody else has questions about the series please don't hesitate to ask.
Re: Shootout series 2014
I fished an EOBO event and didn't have any trouble getting in our out of the water at all. The event I fished had over 70 boats and I thought it was well done.

I did 7 events and I thought the end of the day moved along very efficiently. I'm always amazed that all those vehicles and trailers find a place to park.

We were honestly honoured when asked to assist. Stay tuned tomorrow for that news. Day 3 and 4 will be about new big sponsors that will boost our series like all our sponsors do. Day 5 will be....ummm just be ready to book a weekend off!!!

Re: Shootout series 2014
Hi.. Is Lochaber Bay still out of bounds for next year? I have looked everywhere for confirmation to the rumors that fishing is banned there, but can not find ANY info or regs regarding this on the web or anywhere else. How can it be private if it is a navigable waterway?
