Renegade Bass Classic XVIII - Marshal program

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Renegade Bass Classic XVIII - Marshal program

Post by MichaelVandenberg »

Renegade Bass is looking for Marshals for the 2013 Classic XVIII Championship on Lake St.Francis in Cornwall on September 7th & 8th. This is your chance to spend 2 days on the water with a Renegade Bass team learning today's top bass fishing techniques. Teams will be holding nothing back in their attempts to win the Championship and you will have a front site to all the action. The 2013 Classic XVIII is comprised of some of the best anglers in Ontario and Quebec including Bob and Darren Izumi.

There is NO cost associated with being a marshal. You can volunteer for either day 1 or 2 or both days.

Fishing times are from 7 am to 4 pm on the Saturday and 7 am to 3 pm on the Sunday. Marshals are required to be at the launch by 6 am.

Your responsibilities are simple, but very important. Marshal must be familiar with the on-the-water rules and report back to the tournament directory at the end of the day. On day 1, Marshals are assigned to boats randomly and on day 2 Marshals are put in the top placing boats from day 1. One of the Marshals could be in the boat with the team that wins the $55,000 MSRP Ranger bass boat rigged with an Evinrude 200 HP E-Tec.

Renegade Bass members and B1 competitors will not allowed to be a Marshal.

Not only is this a fantastic learning opportunity, all Marshals will receive a gift from Shimano and Berkley; our series sponsors.

Anyone interested in participating can send an email to info@renegadebass.com including your full name and phone number so you can be contacted.

Thanks,
Renegade Bass

I have done this in the past and it's a great experience.
Can't this year, your classic has the same dates as the UltraBass classic.

@ShawnD Good luck in the Ultrabass Classic.

@bostonwhaler Unfortunately it may be a while till we hold a Classic again in the valley as we had last year's Classic XVII in Cobden on Muskrat Lake. That said, the smallies in Lake St.Francis are much bigger than Muskrat
