a very cold walleye report january 23rd

[Chevy Champagne]

i snuck out for a couple hours before work yesterday am and was it ever freaking cold
i think its time to get a heater for my portable
i started off the day having a solid 3 pounder break me off right under the hole
got over it and kept fishing
moments later i set the hook on the first walleye of the day a compleate dink 10 incher
back down the hole it goes
continue doing that for a while then i finally hook on to something with better size
a little 17 incher


a perfect supper fish so on the ice she whent

i ended off the day with 6 walleye and 2 perch
not bad for a couple hours before work

it sure feels nice haveing these fish finally figured out
