Group Report: HARDCORE/ REDNECK QC Outing!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Like Paul mentioned in a different thread... we are heading out to 31 Mile for White Fish next weekend... me thinks Sunday...!

EVERYONE is still invited. Breakfast and everything. I think we can swing for the worlds biggest plate of pancakes in Kazabazua.

Craig
Hi; I have an idea for next weekend everyone!

Craig can give us all a sleigh/hay ride to the lake.
As he mentioned, a stop in Kaz for pancakes & bacon.
While we're there, we can shop in at the local ornaments store.
Paul can organize a bunch of songs that we can all sing together as we continue on our way to the lake.
Dane will make a big batch of hot coco w/marshmallows and bring a big bag of popcorn to snack on.

Even if we don't catch any fish, we can all be happy together as a Group of Fishermen/Woman.
As Sarah would say: "Even though the fishin' was poor, we all had a blast just being together singing songs and dancing and just being friends!!!"

Any other great ideas???

Sitting by the computer next to the woodstove I had planned on trying my hand at a video fishing report.

The stark reality of -35 on frozen lake put things in perspective. I have several short clips that I will piece together as soon as I learn how. It's not going to be a report but a conformation that we did actually go.

There were some pics taken, but not by me.

I just want to thank everyone that helped me on Sunday. It was a pleasure to meet everyone. I enjoyed the company and had a bunch of laughs.

I must admit, I would like to fish Lac St. Marie this summer.

As always, I am taken by the beauty of Quebec.

Craig & Paul thanks for the offer to join in your apri-fishing ritual, but I wanted to get home......there was this football game I wanted to watch.

You fella`s ventured out on one cold day, you deserve the fish to co-operate next time you are out.
