Just moved to Ottawa, I fished mostly Walleye and some trout. Im just looking for areas to target these fish. Not so interested in the Ottawa river, as I would like to keep a couple fish. I have a 4x4 truck , but no sled. Don't mind walking. If someone could help me out I would appreciated it. I don't want your favourite honey hole, just a couple lake names to get me started.

									Walleye lakes
Walleye lakes
Men and fish are alike..... they both get into trouble when they open their mouths!!
I would suggest a look at Renfrew County.
Over 7500 sq. km., it,s supposed to contain more than 1100 lakes
and some nice river systems.
It,s the biggest county in Ont. and borders the Ottawa R. in the east and
Algonquin Pk. at the west, from which some of the rivers originate.
Some higher altitude lakes in the west of the county contain trout.
