Oct. 14th - Northern Pike (Personal Best)

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Nice pike! Looks like you are continuing to have a great year on the water. Anytime you get a personal best, you know you will be wearing a smile for sometime to come... CONGS!!

There is a joke in there somewhere... Yakking on a fish... hangover or flu... just cant seem to find it... tired!!

On a parallel subject within your post; Why are you promoting your site? Is that the same site I saw being promoted on Used Ottawa? What is in it for you to generate a readership?

Just curious. This is not a statement on the Fish Hawk rules as it pertains (Or doesn't) to your site one way or another... in fact... at this point I am too tired to look for the rules on that one... I am just curious to know what the pay off is to promote a non commercial site.

I know that some members are seeking sponsorships, either passively or actively... but I don't see that with you and your site.

I know I just posted but, if the drive is worth it to you, you need to check out the Jock River dude ! I, and buddies have caught countless pike of similar size or bigger. We catch them right at opener in spring. Rumour has it they return as the weeds die off (i.e. RIGHT FRIGGIN' NOW) .

Good Luck !
Steady.

Just trying to get newbies interrested in fishing, so my web site is a way for them to know where I fish and what I use. Not trying to get sponsorship at all. Just a cool way to keep track of my fishing outtings. Good way of meet people too, had a couple of poeple contact me through the site to go out fishing with them and show them a few techniques I use.
Was talking to a guy earlier this year at Petrie and I was telling him I do alot of Kayak fishing around the area. I told him about my web site, and the next weekend he msg me to go fishing with him and show him a few spots at Petrie. He ended up buying the same Kayak as me! It's things like that why I promote my site!
