Just Another NASA Monday!

My old fishing partner finally was alowed out of the house today... his wife has a set of vise grips firmly attached to his... heart... and doesn't seem to be alowed out much these days.

This day was RULED by Carolina Rigged LIZARDS!

Hanging over the humps (That I have now found are actulay a triangle...) nailing these boys in the 8 to 12 foot range. I do not know the water temp, but I would guess in the 55 to 57 range.

The oddest thing about it was that the LMBs TOTALY outpaced the SMBs at about 10:1!!! But the SMBs were SOOOoo much bigger than the LMBs.

ODD for this lake.

The last fish of the day was a 4.6 lb LMB caught in about 10 FOW... but my bud lost his grip on him just after getting the hook out.. no pic!!

I was smacking bass after bass on a tube... none worth showing my friend who works at a cement factory how to use my Black Berry!! But he outpaced me easily on the lizards.

Well this could be a great topic right there!.....the truth is that lot`s of us ( me included) have .mmmmm let`s say.....problems when it comes the time to hit the lake. When you have young kids ...get`s even better :roll: .....a good friend of mine great angler came to a near separation last year and I`m sure he is not alone facing this!
Allowed out of the house....not as easy as some might think!
To be honest this is what I hate most about fishing.....my ``Friends`` @ Fish Hawk are a walk in the park compare to this!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Gotta tell you... and anyone else who has this problem... it is SIMPLE!

If you drink and smoke pot... forget it. My tactic wont help.

I simply ask her; how do you want me to blow off steam?
Do drugs?
Drink?
Go to bars?

No...?

Fine... I am going fishing.

To be honest, I don't have to make this argument more than once a year. She knows better.

I love her... but if I had ANY woman tell me what to do... and how often... I would be single again in a heart beat.

She could easily find a man she could tell what to do and he would listen... just look at how many guys cant go fishing when they want!!!!!

Married over 17 years.

Having young kids at home....Yup , good idea to be there for your wife and kids as much as possible.. 8) 8)

My kids are grown up :D :D :D :D


To balance things out I tag along '' BIRDING '' once in awhile :oops: :oops:

For those familiar with ``The Perfect Storm`` would say the same.....I have a woman I can`t stand being away from.....but I love fishing!! :lol: :lol: ....I guess I have a problem :lol: :lol:

the only probleme is when i start something i finish the darn thing.

after today im finished.

so now its back to fall fishing
