First report - Walleye!
First report - Walleye!
Here is my swift, first report. Left Gatineau @ 5:30 this AM, launched from Thurso and fished near by shores. Maily using Bottom Bouncers with Warm harnesses. Wasn't till 10 ish that we got our first Wally, nothing big, actually, he was probably only 8'' long, but hey, it,s a start and proof that they are there! Hooked into some 12' and 13', little keepers but we put them back. Now, comes the good stuff, we are close to calling it quits for the day, almost noon, and bam, this beauty hit my Gold/black Northland spinner. She weighed in @ 4.2 on the scale, did'tn measure her, but must have been a 30'' +/-? ALl were caught in 25 to 30' FOW just east of Rockland!

Nice eye!
If your first report has such a beauty in it, I see lots of great reports in your future
Thanks for sharing.

"The time has come," the Walrus said, "To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."
