Backdoor Hijack On Kesagami's Pike.

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Bunk,

Now that's the story I was lookin' for! Awesome pics and some well spun yarn by yours truly. I've never been that far North, but by the pictures and descriptions I felt like I had been there...almost. Carl looked like he had the hot hand on this trip...sincere congrats Carl...big smiles! And Mike looked like he had a memorable trip for sure...some beautiful mental memory shots of his fish.

As for Grant...I have stitches over stitches where he's busted my gut with laughter on several occasions...you summed my fishin' buddy up perfectly Bunk! Tight lines Grant!

Somehow I was looking for a few more chapters to this story, but I guess you crammed all you could into seven fine days 8) ! Happy to see the fish gods were generous. Excellent report as always...I look forward to more of your adventures.

Drool... drool... drool...

Those are some serious pike. You guys all look like cats with canaries in your mouths!!

Your narrative is top notch. Pictures are amazing.

Definitely the best pike report I have seen, and top 3 report for any species.

Thank you for sharing.

Can I ask... what did it cost per person from the time you left your house to the time you got home?

Thanks a bunch guys for the kind words. Ty... the "beast" as you put it didn't make 50 inches... but pretty close.

CPrince... cost is package price and tax... add $120 gas there and return, an overnight @ $70 plus misc... food on route. Also, we spent $120 each for groceries for the week. So basically package plus about $220 after splitting things.

Manny, thanks for your insights as well. I knew much of the lake to start, but for me your info on Michelbobs and Otter was new news to me. Good stuff.

Ace... forgot to mention... the latest bass report kicked butt dood! Thumbs up.

Ratso... thanks. And agreed, Grant is one of a kind for sure.

Nice report as always, also nice not to force members offsite.

That lake is insanely full of pigs. I'll make it there sometime.

What an awesome read! That's a great storyline to represent just how exciting this trip of ours was. I remember seeing the invite this spring and just couldn't pass this one up. Am I ever glad I jumped on the occasion to hit up Kesagami with you guys.

The scenery, the fish, the laughs the good times, the meals. All of it was well beyond my expectations.

True-North really have a great set up. Small lake for those blow up lazy days and the big K. I have never experienced anything like it. The fishing is unbelievable! Let's make that unreal.

Mike's hot baits of the week, the Bleeding Rabbit was one of Mikey's from Mikey's tackle box. I had picked up a bunch of his baits just for this trip and lent my 2 white ones to Mike as he was getting ready for a back to back trip and didn't manage any white inlines.

I was impressed with the quality of the inlines, thick wire, great blades and the feathers held up better than all of my store bought ones. Great service as well as there was an error in my first order and he didn't bother swapping them out, he simply added to what I already had free of charge! You can't ask for better customer service.

Big thanks to Manny! He took the time to draw up some maps of the Big K. with details to each of the bays. I forget how long ago he guided there but he was spot on! Those maps helped a LOT Manny. Huge thanks. I made ya proud in Otter

Not to mention you're suggestion of slow rolling big bladed baits over cabbage. Most of our monsters came off slow rolls off thick cabbage.

I can't wait to do this again!
