more weedbed walleye

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

more weedbed walleye

Post by Yannick Loranger »

After a brief hiatus to go educate the fish of the Montreal River and Nipissing's West Arm, I've come back to Rockland and found new weedbed walleye to traumatize ...I think.
Did some exploring with the wife tonight and found a great looking channel with adjacent weeds on 3 sides. Lots was marking on the FF, but we only got 1 walleye and a few perch. I'll certainly be back on that spot soon enough though.

Walleyes in shallow weeds, nicely done.

Along with another thread talking about pike down deep....I see the light.
