Lake St.Francis and area for bass

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

dude, bass are everywhere. Part of the fun of fishing is finding your own spots and using your own techniques to hopefully land some quality fish. If not, do more research and move on to your next spot. I think Charles Sim set the Canadian record with a 30lbs bag there last fall, ask him for his spots

This section of the river really has my attention for a fall trip, however, I have been told this is a tricky piece of river to navigate.

For anyone interested you can read about it here. http://www.timeonthewater.org/3035_Canadian_Record.html

or here http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors/bass ... d_20091008

Nigel is the one who caught the 7.15 pound kicker.

there are lots and lots of shallow sand flats, shoals and semi and submerged Islands. but just like the 1000 Islands the channels are well marked.

I guess I'd better get a chart of the area and start to study it.

Where is the launch located for this area?

I think this be an AWESOME spot for a Fall Fish-Hawk Get Together.
