Sunny day Pike!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Sunny day Pike!

Post by reel_obsessions »

So had another day off work, So figured it was a good chance to load up the boat and head out for some active northern gators! So we loaded up the boat and headed to the boat launch.. Weather was fantastic, and the wind was low!

So we headed accross the lake to the Quebec side, and went into a nice little bay and started casting.. Second cast in the back of the bay pulled in this nice little Bass.. Quickly got it back in the water!

After that, we took a few more casts, and managed to pull out a few little pike!

We then headed out of the bay, and went along the Quebec shore casting into the weed beds.. The pike where active here and where striking ever few casts!

No big fish, but we where still able to have a blast on our day off!

I was finding the best action and more strikes where arriving when I was slowly reeling a William Wobler silver spoon!

As the day continued we kept on pulling in these nice little fish!

We headed back up to the boat launch and went and took a few casts in the back bay where we landed a few more..

It was getting a bit late though, so it was time to call it a day.. But looking forward to my next out ting, and cant wait to share it with the rest of you!

Happy fishing everybody!

For some,
Fishing is a hobby.

For others,
Fishing is a passion.

For a few,
Fishing is everything.
