Last year in September, we stayed at URR near Westport. Several of the many helpful people on this board helped with suggestions for our 1 day road trip. We ended up choosing Charleston Lake based on glowing recommendations of 100+ days of smallmoth fishing. I loved the lake, but at the time could not find cottages that match URR(Upper Rideau Resorts) conditions.
I found some better sites this year, but would like to know of recommendations of cottages that would have best fishing close and not have to bring in bottled water. We'll have two bass tracker type boats and 6 people. Probably, we'll rent a 3rd boat if possible.
Our current costs are $680 US per week, 3 bedrooms.
