Quick Report

Post by rooky5000 »

So this morning I woke up and decided to go fishing,

Jumped in the jeep and headed down to vincent massey park, As I couldnt stray to far from home was on call.

Went to park and of Course $$$ to park.

So i drove up and parked at the RA Center,
Crossed bronson and hopped in the water(With Waders On)

Walked through the water all the way up to hogs back with not even a hit,
I don't get it , Sooo much promising water and nothing,

So I sat there dissappointed and called the wife to pick me up as it was getting too hot,

Suddenly Had a bright IDEA :!:
Slowly raised my middle finger to the FISH GODS and packed up the wife and kids, in route to "Thistle Down Trout Farm"
Although I had no luck this morning the kids had a blast and got to pet a couple rainbow! Plus :) I didnt get skunked,

Has anyone had any luck in the bronson area?? looks sooo promising but nothing!

Anyway it was a good day out, Any day out fishing is better than work,

I hope you guys have better luck than I did!!!

Theres my little girl petting the rainbow :)
Get her started early!!!

Fishing isn't a matter of life and death....
It's much more important.

never fished the river at that location—biked along it's shores though. Ever try near the Bronson bridge?

I have not fished that section this year however a white tube can be deadly on the smallmouth there once the season opens, I have also caught the odd walleye there. Two summers ago I got broken off by a large Muskie near the bridge. The fish are there....its just been a strange season so far on the rivers this year, I dont think the fish know if they are coming or going.
