So it's a nice evening sunny 24c and we decide to go for a fishin mission in the canoe,,,,,, we paddle for a bit and ahead is a rocky point so we decide were going to beach it 50 yards from the point and walk to the point and see if there is any depth or a drop off. I look out on the water and what do i see a whole bunch of fish thrashing the waters so i get closer to investigate and i am shocked to see 50 or 60 Spotted Gar Pike thrashing the water ... amazing fish! I will try to post the videos i took of them have to ask my monkey how to post them !!
was quite the site considering i had never seen anything like that before and no didn't see RJ swimming in there but i'm sure one of them looked like RJ
Looks like spawning to me, I have an area I fish in the fall that has them jumping all day long. I have no idea how many can be in this place but it must be hundreads as you can see them jump 5-10 at a time.
