OPENING THE COTTAGE 2010 AND A FINAL FAREWELL DAD.

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

OPENING THE COTTAGE 2010 AND A FINAL FAREWELL DAD.

Post by almontefisher »

Well heading up Sunday to turn the water on and get the good ole tinny out for the year. If all goes well with the water thing I am hoping to get out for a fish. It has been a few weeks since I was up there and looking forward to a nice troll around the lake. Hopefully a report to follow. Some know where this is so I will leave it at that.

Also suppose to sprinkle my dads ashes at the lake as he wanted...maybe he will bring me some luck.
Fishing isn't a matter of life and death....
It's much more important.

Wow, my hat is off to you. We could all be so lucky that our favorite fishing holes would be our final resting place. I would think this will put you in favor with the fish gods. Hold that rod tight!

Peter, good luck and I'm sure you will be thinking of your dad often while you are there. Whenever I fish I think of mine, he always said he wanted his ashes spread on The Larry, it was more a gesture than anything else since he knew he would be interned with my mom. I'm thinking how fortunate you are to be able to carry out your dad's wishes, my thoughts and prayers are with you, Joe.
