What is in season this weekend

I just wanted to make sure that I am not breaking any fishing regulations, but this weekend i plan on taking the boat out and maybe going around the Fitzroy damn on the Ottawa river. I think Catfish, Crappie and Perch are all legal in April? Is their anything else I can fish for?

Carp, Gar, Cats and panfish....all at your disposal.

If Winnipeg gets a hockey team, Toronto will want one too.....

Gar does not count as pike? Not that I would fish for that anyhow.
Probably go for cats or barbut, the only time I would eat catfish from the Ottawa river is in the spring.
