Rainbow and Brookie from the North
Hello fellow Hawkers, it was another productive day on the ice. Once again fresh trout for the supper table.

How do trout taste...?????
It seems like you really like to eat them, so they must be tasty!
Do the big ones taste any different or not?
Ive had walleye, salmon, perc, sunfish and bluegill, but never a trout.
Good fish!

Next time you are up here ask Mom or Dad to bring you out to Kingston and I will cook some lake trout for you. MAYBE some lake trout that you caught that day!

Let me know when you'll be on Charleston this year. We'll meet for shore lunch. Then you can find out how good fresh laker really is.

Torpedo man, thanks. Trout taste great either in the frying pan or on the BBQ. The big fella's taste just as good as the small ones. If you liked salmon you will like trout. Bug Doug to take you out from some lakers...The Torpedo wrote:Nice fish once again!!!!
