Lake Trout from the North

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Lake Trout from the North

Post by The Nipigon »

Good evening fellow Hawkers, just a short note from the North. We still have 30 plus inches of ice and it will be awhile before we think of getting the boats out. Here's a few pics of some Lakers taken through the ice just 20 minutes from the house. The bite has been slow this season but never stops a Hawker from icing a few.

Supper of course

Seven more days left for Lakers then it's back on the Hunt for Speckled Trout.

Tight Lines 8)
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, fishing rod in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!."

Nice work dude!!!
There are few problems in life which can not be solved with a well-placed, high-explosive projectile.
