Good evening fellow Hawkers, just a short note from the North. We still have 30 plus inches of ice and it will be awhile before we think of getting the boats out. Here's a few pics of some Lakers taken through the ice just 20 minutes from the house. The bite has been slow this season but never stops a Hawker from icing a few.
Supper of course
Eskimo Ice Augers, feeding people of the North since the 80's
Fun in the sun
Seven more days left for Lakers then it's back on the Hunt for Speckled Trout.
Tight Lines
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, fishing rod in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!."
nice lakers! i spent some time in t-bay and i used to love hittin lake helen for the lakers. white tubes baby! you could hardly get the tube to bottom before it was inhaled by a laker. oh how i miss the north...
