120 Million Litres of Sewage Flows into River

The wettest January day on record sent millions of litres of raw sewage into the Ottawa River.
The city estimates 120 million litres of raw sewage and untreated waste water overflowed the sewage system and into the historic waterway on Monday.
The Ministry of Environment, Ottawa Public Health and downstream water system operators have been notified of the spill.
Environment Canada says 43.6 mm of rain fell at the Ottawa International Airport on Monday.
Atleast they didn't blame it on geese this time lol.. poor geese.
1. Does anyone know what happens to that 120 Million litres of sewage once it enters the rivers>?
I know the whole e.coli story, but thats easily killed from properly cooking your meat.
2. What does it do to the fish?
3. what about their eggs, I heard eggs accumulate toxins (from the mother's side I'm guessing) n such because the eggs are "fattier"?
anyone care to shed/spread some knowledge from their noggin?
...like we couldn't come up with anything better to deal with this..
heres an idea, they should divert all that sewage to the mayors office
oh wait, they're already full of..
great ideas.. Anyway, just thought it was worth mentioning/asking, aside from that..
