walleye
I've done ok so far, picking up 8 on Fri and 4 sat. all caught on the Ottawa river west end) trolling med size, sunfish color Big O's. The water is high and the surface temp ion this area is only 55 degree's
Look around shallow area's that hold bait in the eve to dark. I don't know what lake you fish so....
Good luck, CC Lad.

Well, i just tried a lake today in Lanark county for some walleye (I am a bass guy) and I don't know much about catching them. Got to the launch and met a guy who said he had pulled a few out of the lake last week in 20-30 fow and i was surprised.
I was expecting to hear that they would be close to the feeder creek after the spawn. Long story short, water temp at the surface was 55 and was 48 or so 20 ft down.
I landed two good size eyes today (sunny cloudless skies) in 25 and 30 ft of water close to bottom but saw many suspended 10 ft down over 30-40 ft of water. I'll post a report.
Hope this helps.

Braved the rain and SNOW (yes Snow) Saturday morning on the Barron/Petawawa Rivers, we ended up with 11 in the boat, generally we were getting them in 28-35 feet.
Monday afternoon the young lad and I picked up 6 more in about 20-25 feet on the Ottawa near the Mouth of the Bonnechere River. Jigging with minnows.
