just signed up
hey all
Finally got around to signing myself up to Fish-Hawk
Found the site looking for some outdoor related classifieds, but that's for another post in another location!
Not much to say bout fishing at the moment, I'm pretty new to fishing the area, (grew up on Nipissing ice) did OK for perch on Clayton this winter, but I fear the auger is all but packed away . . .
Time to go sort out some summer gear . . .
cheers!

I'm after . . .
Thanks all,
Joe I've been confined to ice/shore the last few years, so it depends what I can find biting! Hope to change that this summer with a boat, I like some variety, but 'eyes and smallies will likely top my summer list
Canoe fishing for trout is always a favourite too though . . .
Clayton was a new spot for me this winter, couldn't get on the ice at the prime times, so mid-day made sense to go after some perch for the pan, got a few snot rockets and a strange "big green walleye" I guessed at 4+ and sent away . . .

Cappy, here at home i'm a shore fisherman also, except for the rare occasion i rent a boat on one of the local lakes. Plenty of bass and pickeral here, crappies too, loads of fun. The lakes are stocked with trout about now and season opens in a couple of weeks. I'll start hitting the local fishin spots then, i avoid opening day so as not to get a hook in my head! LOL
