66 lb Pike ???

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

It's been posted at least three times over the last two years.

and the first picture, which is usually the last in the e-mails, purports to be the same pike, with a thirty pound pike in its mouth. Look at the leader length, and you will deduce that it is a hammer handle pike in the jaws of one perhaps ten pounds.

One airhead game warden from Alaska had added a comment on one of the (MANY) e-mails that had been sent to me, to the effect that he would charge the angler for fishing with live bait. He had made his comment to the person who mailed me the e-mail, so in that case I went back to my correspondent and asked him to inform the Alaskan game warden that not only was he a turd for suggesting that this would be illegal, but also that he was not very bright if he actually believed this codswallop.

As joco says, that pike has been caught in countless bodies of water. The late Bob Jones from BC, a noted pike expert (God rest his soul), actually did trace the fish and it seems to me it was from Eastern Europe. I may have Bob's e-mail on this subject - or it may have died with my late computer.

Three times??? More like twenty or thirty- three times.

For some reason I knew exactly what pictures I was going to see b4 I clicked.

Still an amazing fish but it sure disapointed me that there wasn't another name of a lake or river this time around!!!
When hell freezes over, I'll be there icefishing!!!

Should make it a sticky so people don't keep posting it over and over and over and over and over again.
