SALMON RUN IS ON!!!!!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Mouth of the Garden? I miss that place. Hopefully I'll get up there this fall.

Nice Chinny. Some big eyes in that area too.

Born and raised. I used to fish that area with my dad ( years ago) and you'd be lucky to see 2 other boats. Now I hear its a parking lot.

It is like a parking lot....but thats just because its the first bottleneck up the river....MOST of the guys in there know what they are doing but there are a few that deserve a downrigger weight to the head

The whole river is getting busy now....Tourney's and what not

What school did you go to ....maybe I know you

Wow, a black salmon caught in a bottleneck section of the river at it's most vaulnerable time and attempting to spawn during the last couple weeks of it's life. Let the good times roll.

Hey Taylor, Im guessing you dont do a lot of fishing for great lakes salmon. That fish is nowhere near spawning, nor is it black. I dont think I see any rapids in the picture( which is where they spawn), and they wont be spawning for at least a couple weeks.
If your going to make a crap comment, at least try to be right about it.
