White Lake Fishing

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

White Lake Fishing

Post by I-make-stink-bait »

Mornin'

Heading up to White Lake this weekend with a big group to do some fishing. Last year when we went we seemed to have pretty good luck with Pike but came up well short on the walleye hunt. Has anyone been out this year? What's working well? How's the fishing been?

The eye's are there but they can be tuff to find. Check the regs there is a size restriction above the Zone 18 standards. In the end I believe you can only keep one walleye on White Lake.

Lots of Pike otherwise .......and largemouth which aren't open yet.

See you there!!

I would love to figure out the eyes on this lake myself. I've seen other posts where guys have picked up a few trolling at the entrance to 3 mile bay. I also saw one caught last year by accident near a feeder stream (the guy was trolling for pike in 6ft of water).
I'll be up there in 1 month, so if someone could provide some pointers it would be appreciated. My son has never caught an eye and I would love to put him on some. I have fished for eyes in the past, but mainly with floating jig heads and crawlers.

Nice catch Almontefisher!

I've been hearing 3 mile bay for eyes, but the FH map project is saying otherwise. According to the map Pickerel Bay is the spot to be.
