Wheres the coolest places you've ever fished???

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I have fished almost everywhere also .... but the best place so far???

has to be during back in the late 1980's I worked in the arctic and flew out in a twin otter to a fresh water lake where Arctic char and Lake trout resided. I dont remember the name of the lake or exactly where it was, I know it was near HALL Lake which is at 68 deg 40' N and 82 deg 16'W.... the plane dropped us off right on the tundra near the lake shore and a river outlet.... there were carriboo grazing in the distance, and EVERY CAST from shore brought in a laker or a char.... the largest I caught was about 15 pounds (which would be about 30 years old there) and the largest laker I saw pulled out was a 30 pounder pulled out by a nurse who was fishing with us. imagine catching a 60 year old fish weighing 30 pounds .... and from shore!!! That by far was my coolest fishing experince and I doubt I could match it again in my lifetime

Port Douglas Australia by far, landed a nice sized Travelli and saw a 10' salt water crock next to the boat.

Get this guys I was on our honey moon, thought I'd set the tone for the rest of our marriage, LOL!
