Wheres the coolest places you've ever fished???

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

This is not any exotic place but close to home.

La belle province, Bryson below the hydro dam, 17Lbs Sturgeon, 49" in lenght. My PB for that species.

This is a 10 lb Mahi Mahi I caught while deep sea fishing in Panama on my honeymoon last October. Got it on a rope line, it was jumping all over the place, it was pretty fun! I had a blast out on the ocean, had never been before, it was a fun experience.

Best place fishing so far.......Lake Hannibanilla, Villa Clara, Cuba.
Fortunate enough to have been there twice, back in the late 90's.
Have landed LMB over 10 lbs. have photo's to prove it and witnesses from Ottawa to back it up. Have seen large mouth bass up to 17 pounds out of this lake and have heard of more, bigger than that.
Actually had my hands on a 17lb. plus LMB.
Countryside around this area just fantastic. Had to fly into Cienfuego by Air Transat and bus for 1.25 hrs. inland through third world Cuba to get to this lake. This area at that time was only accessible by ecotour group agents.
At present I don't know who arranges trips into these areas, but boy do I want to go back again. Sure a heck of a lot cheaper than going to Mexico where the price is way out of line as compared to Cuba.
Back then $1350.00 for the whole week, flight, meals, guides included.

Those places are all HOT!
The COOLEST place I've ever fished was Aquatuk Lake a feeder to the Sutton River in Polar Bear Prov Park back in the 80's as a Junior Ranger. Spent 4 days there building a prefab cabin for float plane pilots to stay at incase of an emergency landing (or at least that's what they said it was for) Didn't catch any Specs but man did all those 20lb pike put up a great fight.
Also fished in Costa Rica on my honeymoon and got skunked (on the water anyway)
Beach fishing for sea bass and eels in the North sea in Holland was also pretty cool. I'll bring back some pics when I go again in April.

Coolest palce for me has to be anywhere in Ontario. Greatest place in the world to fish.

If I had to pick one spot in Ontario it would be Lake of the Woods
