Tribute to Serge Lapointe (TitoWoody)

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

This is just a terrible tragedy......

Let us not pass judgement on why he was out there........

He was doing what he loved to do....

It's so sad and so strange -- that whole "here today, gone tomorrow" thing that we're forced to acknowledge when things like this happen.

I've always been intrigued by the TitoWoody name; apparently, after looking at the photo album that Joco provided, Woody was a much beloved dog that even rode in the kayak with Serge.

I'm so sorry this ended the way it did. Sorry for his life cut short and just heartbroken for his family. I can't imagine their shock and having to get through this, especially in a holiday season.

God Bless,

W.

PS: Steve, bless you for trying to help like you did. And thx for keeping us informed.

Very tragic indeed, thoughts and prayers are with the family.

2 fishermen lost in one week, makes you want even more to enjoy every minute of every day.

As sad as this is, and certainly devastating for his family, I can't agree more with this statement. Enjoy every day, folks - fish to the max!

I didn't know Serge, but when I expire I hope I have a fishing rod in my hand, too. No life support for me!

My deepest condolences to Serge's family and friends.

Regards,
m.-
