I'm Thankful For...(NOTE: lots o' pics)

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Thanks so much, everybody. I always like to share some of the enthusiasm and pleasure I get from our experiences at the lake with the rest of you, because I know you all "get it" and how special those times can be.

We are toying with the idea of spending our ("Yankee") Thanksgiving there. I think that would be awesome. My architect hubby has built the cottage and water system so we might be able to make it happen. We'll see.

Thx again. :D

Ha, Gord! I never thought of that!

We did poke a hole or two in the ice a year or so back, on the drive back from the Wolfe Howl II. In the 1/2 hour we stayed I pulled out a perch. But considering we had no clue what we were doing, you'd think we pulled out a trophy. We were pretty pleased with ourselves.

I've heard the fishing is good thru the ice there as well; I also hear the walleye take a pretty good hit.
