Big Rideau lake

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

There are Bass, lake Trout, some pike and lots of panfish.....The best spot for lakers is actually right infront of the park. PM me with specific questions if you would like more information, as I know the lake very well. I just hope you are not there during the weekend or a bass tournament as the lake can get quite busy at times

Murphys point is an awesome camp ground...and the big rideau is full of fish...it can be a bit hectic out in the main bay when lots of boats are out so be careful.

Here are a couple fish from there....

Nice looking bass Bobber.

Looks like Mike got out fished once again

I guess it's important to have a good net man right Bobber??

As Bobber would say... it's about quality, not quantity.

As it happens, Bobber kicked my butt in both departments that morning.

The previous Thursday evening, RJ did it.

Sunday afternoon, my buddy David did it.

But yesterday, I got me a goodie and I would rather have that one then 40 two pounders...
