Ive also been doing a little digging and that one bay I was telling you about near treadwell is supose to have a good population of pike!

1. The Kpin Cancer Fundraising Derby committee...

BadgerBait working hard at the helm and nerve center of the whole enchelada, the registration area.

Tight lipped they were with the barometer at 30.5 but here's a sample of the catch.

This is my last set of ice fishing pics and video.
I'm done with the ice going out fast.
Here's a nice slab!
Image

Anyway Fri.was a tough day and we caught a few and left for another lake only to not find any fish after drilling 40 holes.
I was shot & we just called it a day.We did stop by Whipering to see what ot looked like for ice out.
Image

Sat. comes rolling in at 5 bells. Mallard shows up at 6 & we head out
for the slab hole.
We hit the lake at sunrise.
Image
There were a few guys that showed up.Thrilla ,Jeff,a brother & friend.
all were fishing hard.
Image
Image
Image
Image
My other buddy Jim came out too.
Image
Here's a few videos of slabs getting drilled & 1 really nice gill.
Image
Image
Image
Since group shots are cool in my book I took this one.
Image
and here was there take excluding Steve & my fish.
Image
This was a nice slab.
Image
So was this one Mallard (Steve) had.
Image
but this was the nicest of Sundays fish.
Image
Greg was on fire Sat.morning.
Image
So was Jeff on Sunday.
He really did take it to Greg.
This was not indicitive of the catch.
Image
Todays group prior to everyone leaving.
Image
This was my last slab of the day & my limit.
Image
Image

Thrilla (Greg),Jeff and the 2 other give me a promo.
Thanks guys.
The 2 other men never used the jig before today.

For those of you who don't know, Keith ties his own Flu Flu style of crappie jigs called T.H.E.(Totally Hot Eveyday) JIG. This is taking fishing with no live bait to a whole new level. I can't wait to start ripping lips with them in the next few weeks.

Check 'em out..Very high quality...
